There are 10 teams competing in TATA IPL 2022. We have dealt with the top two teams in terms of titles won. These are Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. Next, we saw two teams owned by film stars. These are Kolkata Knight Riders owned by Shah Rukh Khan and Punjab Kings owned by Preity Zinta. This time we will have a look at two other teams who have won one title each. These are Rajasthan Royals who won the inaugural title in 2009 and Sunrisers Hyderabad who won in 2016.
Rajasthan Royals will have Sanju Samson as captain and he will double up as the wicketkeeper. He will have others like Karun Nair, Devdutt Padikkal, Shimron Hetmyer, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jos Buttler, Yuzvendra Chahal, Trent Boult, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Prasidh Krishna, Shubham Garhwal, Riyan Parag, Yashasvi Jaiswal, James Neesham, Navdeep Saini and Kuldip Yadav. They have played in IPL and can cause upsets depending upon the situations. The team has a few newcomers.
Kane Williamson will be the captain. He will have with him players like Priyam Garg, Rahul Tripathi, Abdul Samad, Washington Sundar, Nicholas Pooran, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Abhishek Sharma, Shreyas Gopal, T Natrajan, Jagadeesha Suchith, Fazalhaq Farooqi, Kartik Tyagi. There are also a few newcomers and they will have to use every opportunity to outwit their opponents. They got the title in 2016 and could do it again.
